


IGC Description
There are three fraternities and three sororities recognized at Southern New Hampshire University. The sororities include: Kappa Delta Phi- Nationally Affiliated Sorority, Phi Delta Beta, and Phi Omega Psi. The three fraternities include; Kappa Delta Phi, Phi Delta Theta and Phi Delta Psi. These organizations are governed by the Inter-Greek Council. The purpose of the Inter-Greek Council is:
- to promote interest of the college
-to promote the interests of the fraternalism at Southern New Hampshire University
-to foster fraternal cooperation with the college and community
-to foster cooperation among the fraternities and sororities on this campus
-to discuss questions of mutual interests, to supervise fraternal conduct and to make such necessary rules and regulations as the council sees fit.

The Greek societies here at SNHU and all over North America since their modern inception in 1776 are committed to such high-minded ideals as brotherhood/sisterhood, academic scholarship, the development of proper leadership, success, and service to the community.
